Painterly:
 Painterly is when the brush strokes
are heavy and easily seen. Lots of
paint is used so their is heavy texture.

Monochromatic:
 When a painting is done in one basic
color scheme. (Black and White or
Sepia)

Light, Medium, Heavy:
 This is the amount to which texture
and brush strokes will be visible.

Flat:
 No Texture.

Realistic:
 Realistic is painted to look like a real
person. Usually brush strokes are less
visible and smooth to the touch.
