Painterly:

Painterly is when the brush strokes

are heavy and easily seen. Lots of

paint is used so their is heavy texture.

Monochromatic:

When a painting is done in one basic

color scheme. (Black and White or

        Sepia)

Light, Medium, Heavy:

This is the amount to which texture

and brush strokes will be visible

Flat:

          No Texture.

Realistic:

Realistic is painted to look like a real

person. Usually brush strokes are less
